Easy Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 4 cups of milk
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted Butter
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups old-fashioned or steel cut oats
- 2 cups apple, chopped
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Coat the inside of a 3-4 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on warm or low setting overnight, or 7-8 hours. In the morning, check immediately for overcooking. Refrigerate leftovers.

Slow cooker for oatmeal, hmm, I really love all your tips.
This sounds so good. I didn’t even know y’all had recipes on this site until tonight, when I read the 3 min. pasta contest. I am glad I looked! I am finding some really good recipes.
If you have a newer crockpot, leave it on warm for most of the night and turn it up to high for about a half hour or otherwise it will overcook!
Mine overcooked, unfortunately. I may try more liquid next time and/or the leave it on warm idea. I salvaged about half of it and added a ton of liquid to avoid wasting all of it.
