Easy Overnight Oatmeal made in the crockpot is one of my favorite breakfast foods. I love putting it in the slow cooker before bed and waking up to a delicious smelling house in the morning! You can add other fruits too! It is so simple to make and perfect if you are feeding a crowd or you are hosting a breakfast or a brunch.
Simply coat the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray (you can use a liner if you choose). Next combine all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and mix well. Add your lid and cook on low overnight for 7-8 hours. In the morning be sure you check so it doesn’t overcook. I have also used coconut milk and almond milk with this recipe for those who can’t tolerate dairy.
I like to add additional toppings like milk, butter, honey, nutmeg, chocolate chips, maple syrup and additional fruit toppings. It has be made with or without apples so you can allow your guests to add whichever fruit toppings that they choose.
