If you want to host giveaways or review products you will want to work with PR reps and small businesses. When you start your blog you are not going to have a “formula” that PR reps and small businesses are looking for however as your stats grow you will! There are several avenues to find PR connections. What is nice is after you are established PR reps will start contacting you. As you have success in hosting giveaways and write good reviews you will get contacted again and again.
I suggest the following sources for both reviews and/giveaways:
Business2Blogger.com: You sign up. They send you a maximum of 1 email per day containing paid blogging opportunities. If you find one you are interested in, they put you directly in touch with the business that needs your bloggy expertise.
MomCentral.com: Join the community and sign up to participate in Blog Tours and on the Mom Central Blog Rolls. Another opportunity is through MotherTalk a brand of MomCentral.
MyBlogSpark.com: MyBlogSpark™ is a fun and exciting group of bloggers that have access to review new products and services and participate in exciting giveaways, surveys and events. The network provides “Sparks” of information directly to its members from some of the best known consumer brands in the country.
Social Spark: Through social spark bloggers are compensated for writing blog posts about advertisers on their own personal blogs. Payment is made on a cost per post basis. So if you enjoy discovering new products and services and sharing them with your audience, and would like to make some extra money along the way, we would love to see you to join our network.
BlogFriendlyPR.com : Blog Friendly PR was created to help review bloggers as well as sites which specialize in review campaigns connect with business owners and public relations companies.
MomSelect.com: Receive free samples to share with friends, host in home parties or review the newest products for moms. Programs for both Moms and Mom Bloggers!
