Time to check in! How are you doing? It is always difficult when there is a long weekend and a Holiday for me. I did really well though. My total weight loss for the week is 3 pounds and Shelley lost 1.5 pounds! That brings my weight loss to 9.5 pounds and Shelley’s to 8 pounds! We hope that you are doing well as we enter week 3 of the challenge. This week it is time for me to focus on exercising. I am turning to my favorite form of exercise and that is walking. My Mom bought me a pair of great walking shoes and it is game on! Since the weather is starting to cool off I am able to enjoy it a little more.
In addition to walking outside I will use my favorite exercise DVD’s, Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds. These DVD’s are my “go to” when I am ready to exercise. I have used them off and on for years and they WORK! I know many of you have mentioned Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred and I am considering purchasing that too! In addition, I use Wii Just Dance with my son and not only is it a lot of fun it is a GREAT fan burning game! I also have the Wii Fit and honestly have not used it like I should so this is my goal!
How are you doing in terms of exercise? I can honestly say I don’t like it but after I do it, I feel good. What are you doing to stay active?

Ooo… I want to join in. I’ve been in a weightloss competition with my husband this summer. I’ve been kicking his booty but my progress has slowed. I need something to get my rear in gear again.
Well, no weight loss for me this week, but I didn’t gain any back either, so I’m ok with that. I had a great holiday weekend and while I didn’t pig out, I didn’t exactly watch what I was eating either. Today started anew though and this week I am adding exercise to the program. I plan to do my Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred and maybe get a couple of runs in too. We’ll see! Definitely back to eating well again though and hoping for 3 pounds this week!
Last week was tough. Weekends in general ar hard to keep on track and this weekend on my morning run I pulled something in my hip, so exercising had been tough. I hope it gets better quick, I’ve got things to do and pounds to lose!
I am new to your site and first wanted to say I am loving it. Thanks so much for all the wonderful information. I have just gotten started again with exercising and trying to lose about 50 more pounds. I have been seeing good results with jogging a few times a week and also working out to various shows on Fit Tv on alternate days.
