Gift Giving from your Stockpile

Think outside of the box when it comes to gift giving!  Here is a picture that one of our readers sent us with how she is using her McCormick Grinders that she picked up for free at Kroger!  I love it!  Here is a post I did with lots of ideas of how to give gifts from your stockpile.

Thanks Sandy!

Isn’t it fun to laugh at all our friends who are spending hours shopping and lots of extra $$?? We stocked up last Jan after the holidays on lots of presents that we’ve used throughout the year, and I used this year for our Christmas presents. You know, Monopoly for under $3, men’s fleece PJ sets for about $2.50, great silk sweaters for two guys on my list for $3, and more. We wouldn’t have presents if it wasn’t for this and all the careful shopping we’ve done throughout the year on clearance racks with coupons too. Think about the Benji movie collection (was $5 was Wally World) with micro pop corn for a great family movie night and super light on the budget. Might be an oldie, but it’s got 4 movies in the pack that most kids should like.

I use what I pick up on clearance to make baskets for donations. Recently the school I worked at had an auction to riase money to buy new technology. I donated quite a few baskets using things from my stock pile. One basket I made was a Barbie themed basket. I used a barbie that I got on the January Target 70% toy clearance which I used a manufacter coupon on. I also included other barbie things I collected from Christmas, Valentines and Easter clearance at Target.
