Olive Nut Cream Cheese Spread Recipe

I am in love this olive nut cream cheese spread recipe. It is the perfect tea party food too! You can spread this recipe on bread and cut it into shapes for tea sandwiches. We garnish with a sliced green olive for that extra touch.  I like to serve it with crackers too! My Mom shared this recipe with me years ago and I love it.  With only 5 ingredients this is an easy appetizer for game day or any special occasion!  If you like green olives this recipe is made for you. I personally eat them out of the jar they are so good.

You can make this into a great low carb snack idea by serving it on celery or peppers.  It is so good.  It is an easy Keto Diet Friendly Recipe.  I like to make a batch of this up on Sunday night and then I have a low carb high fat snack ready for me all week long.  It is so delicious I often eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.  One tip, is to use whipped cream cheese.  It really gives this a nice creamy texture.

Did you know that you can freeze cream cheese?  It works great and saves money!  I like to purchase cream cheese in bulk on sale and stockpile it for recipes.  Check out this post Can You Freeze Cream Cheese to find out how!  Best of all when I lightly soften the previously frozen cream cheese it makes for a creamy olive nut spread.

I was going to say that I don’t like nuts in my cream cheese & olive which I love in a sandwich but the recipe calls for pecans which are my favorite nut. I can’t wait to try it.
