Last night we were watching the coverage of the Tornado destruction in Alabama and surrounding States and my husband and I were so deeply affected by the devastation. We could not stop thinking about those who were affected! While we don’t have the room in our budget to make a financial donation we do have a stockpile! There are so many ways to donate through your stockpile. This week you can get free toothpaste, propel, deodorant, body wash and much more! Consider making a donation to the Red Cross, Salvatation Army or United Way.
In fact this week check out the Hot Deals & Steals at the Store where we list all the stockpile items each week! We have freebies for Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, CVS, Walgreen’s, Target and Rite Aid each week.

I am one of your readers and I live in Tuscaloosa. This went right through the very center of our town where there are many neighborhoods, businesses, shops and restaurants. While the section of town I live in is fine. Some of my family and friends have some damage to their homes. Thank you for thinking of the people of Tuscaloosa.
Absolutely! We are thinking of you all!
Yes, through my stockpiling, I was blessed to be able to help the firefighters fighting these terrible wildfires not far from us here in Texas. When my friend called saying he was getting some stuff together to take, I asked him what he needed. chapstick – check, lotion – check, sunscreen – check, etc. Sure felf good to be able to help MUCH more than I ever would be able to monetarily.
After all, if you don’t use it to help others too, you DON’T need 57 bottles of mustard! (sorry, my soapbox sprang up!)
Kim, you ALL are in our prayers!
I agree! By stockpiling we are there to help those who need it in the time of need. Thanks for sharing!
I am in South Alabama and there are places collecting items for the victims of these terrible storms. I am planning to go through my stockpile and donate at one of those drop off sites. As a single parent with a daughter in college, my budget is tight. However, I feel this can contribute to the cause and help my fellow Alabamians.
Such a great idea Melissa. Our girls at church are sending down some stuff on Sunday night. Such a blessing to be able to bless others in their time of need. Prayers for Alabama!
After reading artices about donating coupon stockpiles, I have been calling different organizations to find out where I can drop off alot of my stuff. I live in Michgan and would love to help…the problem is…none of these places want things donated…they want and need money to be donated…I was hoping tha someone could give me names of any organizations tht are sending stuff down to the people affeced by this horrible event…I know there must be places, but, I’m having a hard time getting in touch with the corect people. Thanks!
We have friends who live in Tuscaloosa as well. While they are fine they are accepting donations for people in their area who have been left with nothing. I am collecting materials to send out care packages and am working in collaboration with my church to do this. If anyone in the NKY/ Cincy area would like information on how to donate items for a care package please send me an email at lizjos80@gmail.com. Thanks!
