Ham with Pineapple Sauce

Ham with Pineapple Sauce is a family favorite for Easter or other Holiday’s when you serve ham.  The sauce is served on the side which my son likes because he chooses his ham plain.  I love to make this sauce because it adds a great flavor to the ham.

Ham with Pineapple Sauce
  • 1 (4 pound) boneless fully cooked ham
  • ¾ cup water, divided
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4½ tsp soy sauce
  • 4½ tsp ketchup
  • 1½ tsp ground mustard
  • 1½ cups undrained crushed pineapple
  • 2⅓ TBSP cornstarch
  1. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 for 1¼ - 2 hours or until 140 degrees and ham is heated through.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine ¼ c water, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, mustard and pineapple. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Combine cornstarch & remaining water until smooth; stir into pineapple sauce. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Serve warm with ham.
