Are you ready for summer?  It is hard to believe it is already bathing suit season!  I am getting ready by working out 3 times a week and watching what I am eating.  I am really counting calories and trying to make good food choices.  The hardest part for me in the past was eating breakfast however that has changed for me.  Now that I have breakfast into my morning routine it is not something that I dread but something I look forward too instead.

I personally like eating a simple breakfast of eggs, whole wheat toast and a fruit. However when I am on the go I look for something I can make quickly and take with me or not have to spend a long time preparing.

Right now you can download a coupon for $1/5 any SmartOnes from the website too!  I tried the new breakfast items and taste good and I love knowing how many calories I have started my day off with.  I encourage you to start off your morning with breakfast too!  I find when I add a protein that it stays with me longer and I am not as tempted or in need of a snack later in the morning.  If I do need a snack I eat fresh fruit or vegetables.

    My husband makes oatmeal for us for breakfast every day. We like to have some fruit and toast with it. And of course coffee. 😉 It’s also very important for us to have breakfast as a family. Our son loves oatmeal but daughter just has cereal and toast. The baby snacks on cheerios right alongside the rest of us.

    Sometimes I have oatmeal with berries.
    Also I like a toasted English muffin which melted cheese.

    I have the Lower Sugar Maple/Brown sugar oatmeal packet made with 1/4 cup extra oatmeal and skim milk. I then add chopped walnuts and cinnamon. I usually eat a tablespoon of Jif Extra Crunchy Reduced Fat Peanut Butter also and of course some coffee.

    Hi! I have a big bowl of mixed fruit–cut up bananas & peaches, banana & grapes, other combos–and 3/4-1 cup high fiber cereal. I get protein in the skim I pour on. This breakfast lasts a long time and is very satisfynig for the soul.

    I enjoy a bowl of mixed fruit for breakfast. But around 9:30 I am hungry again. I will drink water and have some nuts or more fruit. I am on a mission to lose 80 pounds.
