This year I planted green peppers and I have to say I was so excited when the first 2 were ready to be picked! I immediately decided to make stuffed green peppers with them.
They had a great flavor and my husband keeps checking the vine for more! Stuffed Green Peppers makes a great dish to freeze too! Just stop before placing in the oven and freeze. Allow to thaw before baking and enjoy!

I love stuffed green peppers but our plants never do very well. What type of peppers did you plant?
I bought them at Deatons.
Wow, these look great! I don’t eat beef but it’d be so simple to just substitute ground turkey instead. Thanks for this recipe!

I have been eyeing my bell pepper plant for the very same reason – craving stuffed peppers! My recipe is the same my mom always used, with rice and ground beef as well. Yum!
I am so planning more plants next year 🙂
Do you warm the rice up before you mix it in or just let it heat up in the oven?
I warmed it up before 🙂
I haven’t had these in years.
