This is my favorite Christmas Decoration. My Grandpa made it before his passing and I have to say it is one of my most treasured keepsakes. I shed a few tears each year when I hang it but they are tears of joy. I keep in my kitchen for the season and it gives me the peace that my Grandpa is with us for the holiday’s.
I wanted to share it with you because it is such a frugal Christmas decoration but honestly he didn’t “teach” me how to make it. He made hundred’s of them and sold them at craft events. It is made of an old bleach bottle, yarn, and felt. I did find a complete step by step direction on how to make it though at Thrifty Fun and wanted to share that with you.
I hope you find it as festive and fun as I do. Thanks to my Grandpa for creating it and for being the best Grandpa in the world.

My grandma had one of these and I loved it. I came across one a couple of years ago at a yard sale and had to pick it up. It may not be the one she had, but it reminds me of her whenever I see it!
