How do you entertain your kids during Christmas vacation? Well I guess it could be as simple as a cardboard box and markers 
Peyton asked me if he could have this box after I emptied it and next thing I know he created a ship and spent the day enjoying his creative play. So, it just goes to show that you don’t have to “entertain them” – just give them something as simple as a cardboard box and markers
Other ideas though once the box no longer entertains them:
Head to your local library
Utilize passes and memberships
Bake cookies, muffins, a cake!
