When Peyton came home from Guatemala he had some skin sensitivities. It was an adjustment for him to get used to the US allergens and he broke out in tiny “bumps” from head to toe. I called my pediatrician and they suggested using Aquaphor. It really gave his skin the relief that it needed and the bumps quickly went away. From that day forward that is the only lotion we used on his skin until he was 2 years old. For this reason I swear by Aquaphor and really agree that Aquaphor is often called the duct tape of dermatology. It can be a great addition to your summer fun checklist as you spend time outdoors.
There are several products that you may want to add to your summer fun checklist including:
Aquaphor Healing Ointment is a dermatologist and pediatrician trusted product that helps protect and relieve dry, cracked skin. It provides effective soothing relief for dry skin and its mild formula is safe for external use on your baby’s delicate, sensitive skin.
Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo is a pediatrician-recommended cleanser that gently cleanses both skin and hair. Enriched with soothing chamomile and provitamin B5, the tear-free formula is specially designed and clinically proven to be mild enough for baby’s sensitive skin.
I personally love this brand and when I was a new Mom – it gave me the peace of mind that I needed and helped us through a transition time for Peyton.

Thanks for the giveaway…our kids skin can get dry & irritated after having been immersed in chlorinated water all day in the pool; Aquaphor Healing Ointment, applied after their post-swimming bath / shower, can relieve some of that dryness / irritation.

I don’t have kids, but I have nieces and nephews that have to use Aquaphor. One of my nephews gets really bad eczema on his cheeks and Aquaphor is the only thing that helps him.
Also, after my fiance had radiation treatments for his Lymphoma, he had to use Aquaphor to heal his burned neck. It really helped him get his self-esteem back after seeing how is skin turned colors and started peeling.
