When Peyton came home from Guatemala he had some skin sensitivities. It was an adjustment for him to get used to the US allergens and he broke out in tiny “bumps” from head to toe. I called my pediatrician and they suggested using Aquaphor. It really gave his skin the relief that it needed and the bumps quickly went away. From that day forward that is the only lotion we used on his skin until he was 2 years old. For this reason I swear by Aquaphor and really agree that Aquaphor is often called the duct tape of dermatology. It can be a great addition to your summer fun checklist as you spend time outdoors.
There are several products that you may want to add to your summer fun checklist including:
Aquaphor Healing Ointment is a dermatologist and pediatrician trusted product that helps protect and relieve dry, cracked skin. It provides effective soothing relief for dry skin and its mild formula is safe for external use on your baby’s delicate, sensitive skin.
Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo is a pediatrician-recommended cleanser that gently cleanses both skin and hair. Enriched with soothing chamomile and provitamin B5, the tear-free formula is specially designed and clinically proven to be mild enough for baby’s sensitive skin.
I personally love this brand and when I was a new Mom – it gave me the peace of mind that I needed and helped us through a transition time for Peyton.

We have not tried Aquaphor but would like to because we’ve heard great things about it!
I love Aquaphor. I first used it when Cole was a baby. (He’s now 13). The doctor told me to use it on his severe diaper rash and his sensitive skin. Have loved it since. I have continued to use it on my other children and myself.
I don’t ever remember trying aquaphor. I’d go with rubbing it on my elbows which can crack
I have never tried Aquaphor, but it would definitely help with the skin problems in our family.
i always use a lot of aquaphor to help heal my daughter’s hands in the winter – they get very dry and cracked and red
I’d like to try the Aquaphor because this looks like a good product to help keep my eczema from reccurring.

My skin has never had sensitivity issues but my daughter was diagnosed at 15 months of age with sensitive skin. I’d always used wipes and detergents for sensitive skin but, as she was spending a lot of time active outdoors (she walks, stands and is starting to run), she was taking more baths and her shampoo was irritating her skin. We’ve started using Aquaphor Wash and Shampoo as soon as we got home from the doctor and her issues disappeared almost instantly.
I would like to try these products very much. My son and I have very sensitive skin and are always having irritation which this might help with.

I have never tried Aquaphor products myself. I know my sister uses them because she raves about it often. I would love to try some for myself.

I have never tried aquaphor, but I have heard great things and I would love to try.
I haven’t used Aquaphor products yet, but I’ll definitely consider adding them to my summer routine – I often go jogging early in the morning, when the air is cool and dry, and I tend to get chapped lips and skin as a result. Thanks!
