As you know we are raving Chick-fil-A fanatics! When we got an invitation to visit corporate Chick-fil-A in Atlanta, GA there was no way that either of us would pass up the opportunity. It was a great time! We were picked up in the airport in a COW car (there is no better way to travel 🙂 So as you can imagine we were excited to say the least. We enjoyed dinner with all of the bloggers and members of the Chick-fil-A corporate team the first evening.
The next morning we enjoyed breakfast and tour at the Dwarf House (if you have never been you are missing out on the amazing hot brown!) Truett Cathy opened his original diner, the Dwarf Grill, in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville (later renamed Dwarf House®). They still have a unique menu with many of the traditional menu items still available! It is a great place to stop if you are in the area.
Afterwards Dan Cathy the President of Chick-fil-A gave us a great backstage tour at corporate! We learned how to make Chick-fil-A lemonade, learned about how the prizes are selected for the kids meals and so much more! We even got to sit at Dan Cathy’s desk!
It was a great time and of course for raving fans like we are it was a true blast! It was a great opportunity and we are thankful for being selected. For raving fans like we are this was really a dream come true!
Check out this cute original door at the Dwarf House. Here we are with Dan Cathy.
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! It was hard work but we are happy to have the experience and the recipe to share with each of you!
