Welcome to Sack Lunch Sunday – Summer Edition.  For many of you, packing lunches is a year long process.  For me, we pack almost daily as we head to the pool, picnic, zoo, aquarium or other fun adventure.  I thought I would continue with my Sack Lunch Sunday and help those of you are packing year round either for yourself, spouse or your little ones.

I am keeping it simple by just sharing with you some of my favorites and you can mix and match based on your schedule.  I like to choose 1 item from each category daily.

Fruits: 

  • Strawberries
  • Grapes (frozen)
  • 1/2 Banana
  • Kiwi
  • Blueberries
  • Melon
  • Pineapple
  • Apple Sauce (I love GoGo Squeez or Buddy Fruits)
  • Raisins
  • Pears
  • Oranges
  • Fruit Kabobs
  • Healthy Fruit “Palm Tree”

Veggies: 

  • Carrots with ranch
  • Celery (Ants on a log is fun – spread with peanut butter and dress with raisins or chocolate chips)
  • Green and Red Pepper Slices
  • Wholly Guacamole with tortilla chips
  • Hummus with pita chips

Main:

Dessert:

Beverages:

  • Horizon Organic Milk Singles
  • Honest Aid Pouches
  • Fresh Lemonade
  • Water
  • Applewood Julep
