I was recently asked by the Blog Frog to share with you who my influencer’s are in the social media world. Of course I can’t start this post without mentioning that my biggest influencer for life is my Mom. She is who has given me all of the skills that I use today as a wife and Mom. Without her influence I am really not sure where I would be today. In fact it is actually my Mom who introduced me to blogging!
As a busy Mom, blogger, social media consultant, wife, chef, the list goes on and on I really rely on my “go-to” sources for advice when it comes to making some of my decisions. I really believe in word of mouth marketing. Often times I am personally referred to as my friends and readers “go to girl” which is really very flattering.
I am the first to admit that fashion is not my forte. So when I am in need of fashion advice I immediately head to my favorite fashion blog Bon Bon Rose Girls. Why? Because they know what is hot and what is not. They provide for me styles that are “in” and trendy and she also helps me find where to make those purchases and even save money while doing so. Without them I would be lost in the fashion world 🙂
Another of my influencers is Robyn from Robyn’s Online World. I met her at a brand event a couple of years of ago and have been following her on twitter since. I love the power of her tweets and she really is true influencer of marketing for the brands she works with. I love that she gets paid to blog and she isn’t afraid to tell you that. I also love that you never know what you are going to find on her blog because it really is like being apart of her world. She is a true asset to the blogging world in terms of content marketing and pr reach for brands.
The final influencer that I want to share with you is Laura from Real Mom Kitchen. We met at a brand event two years ago and became instant BBFF (Best Blogging Friends Forever). I love her for 100 reasons. Her blog is amazing because it is just as the title says – REAL MOM KITCHEN – recipes that real moms have the time and energy to make. I love hopping over from facebook where I follow her to see her amazing recipes. Not only has she taken her blogger community to a published cookbook she gave us the inspiration to write our own book (Couponing Secrets from the Stockpiling Moms) too! I always say that you meet people for reason and in this case I know it is true!
Thanks for alowing me to share my influencers with you. It is truly amazing to me the power that bloggers hold. Here is the advice I will leave you with. You are in the business of “YOU”. Your ethics, your morals and your style. I really feel that is the key to blogging success. You must answer to yourself. Even if you monetize your blog and get paid for posts it is up to YOU to feel comfortable promoting the products and brands. We are very careful about what we post about and how we monetize our blog.
As always thanks to YOU for reading our blog and following along in our journey to saving money.
