Welcome to Sack Lunch Sunday! I pack my sons lunch 5 days a week and share with you my menus each week. I try to plan the menu using all the food groups and in our school we do not have to follow nut free rules and regulations. They do have a nut free table available in the cafeteria. I do want to add that though this may seem like a lot of food I send very small portions and I will add that my son is picky. However, I take the approach of sending a variety. I do require him to bring back what he doesn’t eat so I can get an idea of what he is really eating and I also go to the cafeteria one day a week and eat with him
This is our first week back! We are starting school on Wednesday. I am including Monday and Tuesday too for those of you with kids who are starting this week or already back in session.
Monday -Ham Roll Up (ham and cheese rolled up with a pretzel stick), Box of Raisins, Carrots with Ranch, Way Better Tortilla Chips and Horizon Organic Milk Box
Tuesday – Tortilla Wrap (turkey and cheese), Sun Chips, Red Grapes (frozen), Organic Fruit Leather, Horizon Organic Milk Box
Wednesday – Pepperoni, Cheddar Cheese Cubes, Carrots with Ranch, Gold Fish or Annie’s Bunnies, Brownie, Horizon Organic Milk Box
Thursday – PBJ (cut into fun shapes with cookie cutters), Banana, Cheetos, Nilla Wafers, Horizon Organic Milk Box
Friday – Wholly Guacamole, Way Better Tortilla Chips, Sliced Green Pepper, Pears, Rice Krispie Treat, Horizon Organic Milk Box
