My son loves to have oatmeal every morning or as a snack.  This is a huge money saver for me.  You can modify this recipe to be gluten free by using gluten free oats.  They can be microwaved or cooked on the stove.  I love how easy they are to make and they save me both time and money in the morning.

  1. I just bought 4 boxes of instant oatmeal WITHOUT coupons! I am SO doing this when we run out!

  2. This looks great! Do you need to do it with the Instant Oats or do regular oats work too?

  3. This is a great idea for the kiddos. I do something similar for breakfast at work. In my case, I put it all in a small Pyrex bowl with a lid. That way I have a bowl for my oatmeal with me.

  4. You can also try bending half of the oats before you package them to get more of that store-bought texture.

  6. This is great. I add a little pinch of salt to our baggies, too. thx
