My son is NOT a fan of homework and neither am I. This year I decided to think outside of the box when it comes to homework time. My son has to practice 15 words a night Monday – Thursday. I personally think that is alot! However, in order to make it fun we brought out the sidewalk chalk and he practices on the driveway. WOW! What a difference it makes! Now I ask him the words he writes them (in chalk) and then any he doesn’t get correct he writes again for practice. No complaining, no stress! He actually says that homework is FUN! What??? That can’t be
