Stockpiling Tip – Avoid The Holiday Grocery Rush. It seems like every year I hear people dreading the Holiday Grocery shopping! Melissa and I do our very best to stay out of the Grocery Stores around the holiday months. If you notice things you need for Thanksgiving and Christmas will go on sale now. Stock up so you do not have to shop during the holidays.
Another idea is pay attention to the cycles. Ketchup, BBQ, and other condiments usually go FREE or close to FREE in the summer. This year I am stocked up with 50 bottles of BBQ Sauce because that is what we will probably use in the years cycle. You hardly ever see FREE BBQ Sauce in the winter because no one is grilling BUT it is wonderful to add to Crock Pot Meals! For example, check out our Crock Pot Chicken Recipe! What cycles have you noticed?
Make a list of all the things you will need for the holidays! You will probably be able to get them all before the holidays are in full swing! What are you preparing this holiday season?
