7 Days of Stocking Stuffer #Giveaways :: $50 Famous Footwear Gift Card :: CLOSED

UPDATE:  The giveaway is CLOSED

The Winner Is: Mindy

We had so much fun hosting our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Event that we decided to extend our event another 7 days!  We are hosting a 7 Days of Stocking Stuffer Giveaway.  The event ends on 12/31/12 at 9 am ET – we know you won’t have them by Christmas but there is nothing better than a gift after the Holiday’s :-)

We are so excited to share with you the Voices of Victory campaign sponsored by Famous Footwear.  The campaign allows for people to create a free singing holiday greeting card to share with friends and family. Participants will also add their names to Famous Footwear’s large greeting card to try to break the Guinness World Record for the most contributions to a greeting card! If the record is broken, Famous Footwear will donate $10,000 to the March of Dimes.

Famous Footwear created the Voices of Victory campaign to help bring families and communities together during the season of giving. Sending out greeting cards is a favorite family pastime and this is a quick, easy and free way to do so! And, at the same time, help us give back to the March of Dimes.

For details on how to send your singing holiday greeting card, visit and click on the Voices of Victory tab. You can create as many singing cards as you’d like, but your greeting will only be added to the Guinness World Record list once. Want to spread the word on Twitter? Use the hashtag #myvictory!  I created one and it took less than 5 minutes – you can search for it under my name.

Here is how it works:

  • Like the Famous Footwear Facebook page
  • Click on the Voices of Victory tab
  • Customize and style characters, including wardrobe and Famous Footwear shoes for their singing debut
  • Choose a festive song and scene
  • Share with friends and family

In addition to sending the FREE card and helping to break the world record, participants will also receive a coupon for joining in on the fun and the chance to win a $100 gift card that Famous Footwear will give away each week.  For the official rules, read here.

We have a $50 Famous Footwear Gift Card to give to (1) lucky Stockpiling Moms readers.  The giveaway ends on 12/31/12 at 9 am ET and is open to US residents ages 18+.

We are going to keep it simple – this is going to be a fun comment contest.  Let’s talk about paying it forward – it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.  You can donate from your stockpile, volunteer your time, the sky is the limit – share any ideas that you have!  Make as many comments as you want for your chance to win.

My son was RACKED (random act of Christmas Kindness) when he went to buy something out of the quarter machine at the grocery store. The person taped a quarter and a pencil to the machine! How awesome was that?!!

We did the 26 acts of kindness this year with the entire family. we added them up as we went on it was great to hear the kids come home from school and say i helped my teacher instead of recess, i let my friend have .05 for his overdue library book, mom paid for coffee for someone, dad let someone out in traffic…

Build A Bed is a great place to donate your energy, in the spring several organizations around Kentucky build beds for children who don’t have them and give them bed bags (even with a comfort item)…we are planning to help with this…

Well my oldest daughter is all about helping the elderly.. she will rush over to help open doors, she will pick up things that may have fallen, and she feels the need to wave at every single elderly person she sees (while whispering to me how cute they are). So I’ve decided to find a retirement home where she and I can volunteer over this up coming summer. She is 12 and I’m so proud of how much love she has to give!

being a school bus driver, I see children from all walks of life….since we don’t have little ones at home anymore or grandchildren yet, I purchased an Elf on The Shelf for my bus…….Hightower is his name.
He provided entertainment of all sorts for my elementary students (mainly) but the middle school and high school students were always looking to see where he was each day and what he had done. Along with parents, teachers and my supervisors. How rewarding this was…and Hightower will be back next year.
A smile on their faces were priceless…..we are all believers on Ms Cindy’s bus.

Every year we choose a charity of some sort to donate gifts to. This year because of couponing I was able to do Christmas for a family in our area that had fallen on hard times. By shopping from my stockpile I was able to fill a huge box with groceries and didn’t break the bank giving gifts and stockings to their 3 kids plus a couple gifts for the parents.

Smile and say Hi to someone…..sometimes that’s all it takes to perk up someones day. Being someone who works with the public daily I was confronted by an elderly lady who comes in often. She said if more people smiled like you the world would be a happier place to be. It doesn’t take much…..
