Gingerbread House 2012

One of our favorite traditions is our Gingerbread House. It is something we all get involved in. You may want to check out my post on how to create meaningful Christmas traditions.  We make our gingerbread house from scratch and use a gingerbread mold, then together as a family we come up with a design and decorate it. Here is the final product for 2012!  We use candy that we purchased the year before after the season or even leftover Halloween Candy because we don’t actually eat at our house.  This year we used shredded wheat cereal for the thatched roof and upside down ice cream cones for the trees.
