Do you watch the The Academy Awards ceremony (The Oscars)? If so mark your calendar they are on Sunday, February 23, 2013, The 85th program will air live on ABC. I am super excited this year to see 6 Disney films nominated!
Lincoln received 12 nominations including Best Picture and is the most nominated film of the year! Have you seen it? If not, I would really suggest it! Our personal favorite animated film Brave was also nominated. Also included was Frankenweenie, Wreck-It Ralph, Paperman and Marvel’s The Avengers all received one nomination each.
If you are like us it is an annual tradition to gather together and watch The Oscars. I love watching the red carpet and what the celebrities are wearing. I make appetizers and we enjoy it as a family. Sometimes we even have an Oscar’s Party. It is fun to have one complete with your own red carpet and have guests dress up.
