Snikiddy Foods has introduced a fun way to eat a serving of vegetables…in chips! This review is of the Eat Your Vegetables…One Chip at a Time in Sea Salt flavor. As a mom of finicky eater, I feel like I am always begging my son to try a new food, but vegetables are one food item that he always refuses to even try. Imagine my surprise when I simply sent some of these chips in his lunch to school one morning and he came home asking to eat more of those “yummy chips”! (I didn’t point out the word “vegetables” on the bag to him, of course, so he ate them by the handful!)
Eat Your Vegetables chips are made from a blend of sweet potatoes, carrots, and navy beans. They are non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and don’t contain MSG. These chips contain Vitamin A but not much sodium. Yes, they really are healthy! The chips taste and look a lot like Doritos; they are crunchy and have a hint of salt on them. I found the Sea Salt flavor to have a lot of depth; I was actually expecting them to just simply be salted chips, but they have a really good flavor profile to them.
The chips are available at Whole Foods, Shaws, CVS, Target, Sprouts, and many more stores. You can also order them online at Amazon. Be sure to visit their website so you can sign up for a free coupon too!
