I want to share this recipe for Homemade Tartar Sauce. It is a great way to save money instead of purchasing store bought tartar sauce to not use it all. With only three ingredients you are sure to have always in your stockpile. You can use any brand of course adding more or less of each ingredient to taste.

I use mayo, mustard and relish….never thought about onions…I will try that next time!
I also add a few drops of lemon juice to make it a little tangy and a little garlic powder.
I make this a lot and my husband likes it when I use dill pickle relish instead of the sweet pickle. Either way is good to me!
We make our own tartar sauce too – sometimes we add several drops of hot sauce to add some extra zip!
