Crockpot Applesauce BBQ Chicken

Crockpot Applesauce BBQ Chicken

Crockpot Applesauce BBQ Chicken is only 6 ingredients and 3 of them are spices that you probably already have in your pantry. When I came across this meal when I was planning Freezer Cooking Meals I couldn’t resist because all I needed was chicken, applesauce and bbq sauce besides spices. This dinner recipe was so easy to put together in a freezer ziploc bag and just as easy to thaw and put in the crockpot. My kids loved the sweetness of this meal and want to know when we will be having it again. It was delicious and is already on the menu for a second time!

I’m a new mom and I want to be a stockpiler! I Love the idea of freezer meals and crock pot meals. My question for this recipe is that the picture shows what looks like pre-shreded and cooked chicken. Can I put raw whole breasts in instead?

Yes you can put in raw boneless chicken breasts. I had used frozen shredded chicken that I had in stockpile in my freezer. Congrats on becoming a Mom! I hope you find cooking with your crockpot fun and easy!
