Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken is a great freezer meal recipe! You can prep this meal ahead of time and freeze then when you are ready to make it just thaw and dump in the slow cooker. Best thing about this recipe besides the great taste is you ONLY need 5 ingredients!
I served the Teriyaki Chicken over steamed white rice and my husband and I loved it. If you are prepping this as a freezer meal then be sure to write on the ziploc bag – cook on Low 4-6 hours. Add all the ingredients to the ziploc bag except the chicken brogh and freeze. When you are ready to use it, pull out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge overnight and then add your chicken broth and cook.
You can add a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce at the end of cooking if you want.
Be sure that you invest in a good quality slow cooker. Our favorite is this programmable cook and carry 6qt oval slow cooker. A great way to save money is to purchase your meat in bulk from ZayconFresh.
