This spring, Rice Krispies is encouraging Moms to Keep it Simple! I love that! I think often times we find recipes online that are so difficult to make and in reality are something that our families may not even enjoy. Instead of purchasing expensive ingredients and spending hours in the kitchen why not keep it simple instead.
At the end of the day I know that my family LOVES Rice Krispies Treats! They are also fun to make too! Peyton and I have blast together every time we make them. In fact, we made these together yesterday and last night when I tucked him in he said, “thanks Mom for making Rice Krispies treats with me today” and I knew right then that keeping it simple really meant a lot to him. Those are the memories that I want him to have with me in the kitchen.
Mother’s Day Rice Krispies Treats
Made with a few simple ingredients, Rice Krispies Treats are the perfect, easy-to-make sweet treat. Making them is a great activity for families to enjoy together. In fact I keep the supplies on hand for Snow Days and in the summer when it is too hot to go outside. Rice Krispies Treats supplies are always in my stockpile. What better idea than making them for a Mother’s Day Treat! This no bake sweet treat is sure to be a hit with Moms too!
Here is an Instagram Video we took during the process.
