T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs is a great dining reservation to reserve in advance, so if you get the chance to eat here it is so worth it! On the Disney dining plan it is one Table Service credit (sit down). But in my opinion it is a must do if you have children who love Dinosaurs! Plus the restaurant has incredible views throughout the whole restaurant making dining so enjoyable. My husband and I also enjoyed that it was stimulating for our boys.
Table Service (sit down) for dining are unique at T-REX in that guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations (also known as ADR) for this character experience, which limits your wait time. Reservations book fast so you need to make sure to do them as quickly as you can at the 180 day mark before your trip!
The food for lunch was so delicious. My husband and I tried many different food options, we always ordered different things so that we could then taste each others. My youngest got the mac and cheese off the kids menu and it was delicious, and it was so much food that he could not eat it all. I do not think I could have eaten all of it either. But of course we enjoyed dessert too, which was an explosive volcano mound of chocolate and feed all of us! This was our favorite of all the food choices. So if you go be sure to get the Chocolate Extinction, you will not be disappointed at all. The kids really enjoyed it, but my youngest who was 6 years old at the time, was super excited when the restaurant would come alive with all the dinosaurs. But I could see how this would make little ones scared. So beware of that if you have young children that do not like loud noises. Next time we go to Disney World we will definitely eat here again.
After eating and getting your belly’s full, be sure to go walk around Disney Springs. They have so much more than just shopping. There is lots of live entertainment for the whole family!
I was not compensated in any form for this review. My family personally paid for this trip, dining and all expenses. This dining review is my personal opinion.
