    I wanted to share with you our top 11 Free Websites for Kids.  This summer when it gets hot out or when we need some down time, we like to let our kids play computer games. These are some great educational resources to use that are FREE.

    Kids Turn Central - Crafts, Snacks, Games and More

    Starfall – Starfall is a free website to teach children to read with phonics. For preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. Exciting phonics games and online interactive books.

    Club Penguin – Club Penguin is both a free and pay site. You can play on Club Penguin for FREE you just do not have all the advantages of a club member.  Try it out for free first and see if your kids enjoy it. (Sadly, no longer active).

    PBS KIDS – Play educational games, watch PBS KIDS shows and find activities like coloring and music. PBS KIDS Games and Shows are research based. Enjoy your adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog, Calliou, Dinosaur Train, Mr. Rogers and Curious George

    JumpStart -3-D Virtual World for Kids 3-8 yrs. Trusted by 20 million Parents

    Fun Brain -FunBrain is the #1 site for online educational games for kids of all ages. (Math, grammar, science, spelling, history) They also provide Web Books and comics such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Amelia Writes Again, and more.

    Funschool -Funschool offers free online educational elementary games for kids as well as printable activities, coloring and crafts that will help kids learn.

    Hotwheels - Games, Videos and More

    NickJr – They do have some “premium” games that you have to purchase but we don’t. There are plenty for free. They also offer coloring pages and more.

    Disney - Filled with craft projects, recipes and other fun ideas.
