I can’t scream from the roof tops enough about my love for Kroger ClickList! Never heard of it? Well, you are missing out! It is online grocery ordering that you simply pick up at the store. You NEVER leave your vehicle! You simply order your groceries online and then drive through a special Kroger ClickList area and pick them up. It is AWESOME!
I waited to try this service until it was available at my local store because I didn’t want to drive “out of my way” to pick up groceries. Boy am I glad I gave it a try and I may never enter a Kroger Store again for large grocery orders!
The service is not free – it costs $4.95 however the first three times you try it is FREE! So you have nothing to lose. I have used the service three times myself so I am out of my free trial sessions however I will continue to use this service for large orders. I have found that not only do I save time that I also save money. I also noticed online they are offering a 1/2 off service fee right now if you have used all your free times like me.
How I save time?
I sit down at my computer or use my Kroger app and create my clicklist order. I select a time for pick up, it will not be the same day you order and depending on orders it may be up to two days. I secure that time and continue by creating my order. If you do not place your order before midnight, you will lose this reserved pickup time. My advice is don’t work on your order and then select a time but instead select your time first to be sure it fits into your schedule.
Next you add items to my clicklist order. It is simple to do because ClickList is linked to your KrogerPlus Card. It shows you what you recently purchased so that helps me create my list quickly. It also shows you what is on sale so you don’t miss out on those savings! You add your items to your list and you can make specifications for each item. For example if you want “green bananas” you can include that or if you order ground beef you can specify the amount of pounds.
Finally once you are ready to submit (you have until midnight to finalize or make changes) you click a button and your order is received. It is that simple! It takes me on average and hour and a half round trip to make a in store shopping trip to Kroger. It takes me round trip 20 minutes to pick up a ClickList shopping trip! Best of all once you arrive you do not enter the store. You drive up to the ClickList location and call a number. They ask for your name and then they come out with your order and pack it into your car for you! This is the BEST service for busy Moms!
How I save money?
I have saved on average $50 each time I have used ClickList. I think there are several reasons. I am not temped to “add” items that are not on my list like I am when shopping in the store. When I place an order with ClickList and they are out of stock they substitute a product at the same price. This always works in my favor. I am still able to use coupons. Not only do I load coupons to my KrogerPlus card through the Kroger app I can still bring paper coupons to my ClickList pick up and they will scan and use them. Also, my time is money, so the time I save by using ClickList now I can spend doing other things. By using ClickList I am planning my meals for the week thus saving us money from dining out or making multiple shopping trips in a week.
I honestly don’t have any negative feedback about the Kroger ClickList program. I love it. In fact I was extremely sick the first time I used the service and without Kroger ClickList my family would have not eaten if it weren’t for the service. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kroger for this amazing service. It is worth every penny that I pay for the service fee and I hope that Kroger never stops offering this service
From our reader Jennifer:
I just recently started using the Kroger ClickList. I immediately fell in love with it, practically crying when the nice teenage boy came to my car with all of my groceries done and in little bags – and put them in my trunk. No driving around our very crowded parking lot trying to find a spot that was not 1/4 mile from the entrance. No getting frustrated with carts blocking aisles or I can’t find something in the store. No more spending my day off going to the grocery store and stressing about the whole thing.
I told them I felt like the Queen of England as he was doing all of my shopping AND putting everything in the trunk while I just sat there smiling. My daughter and I were actually giggling the first time.
And the extraordinary substitutes … last week, I had added the smallest container of Kroger brand hazelnut spread to my cart. He came to the car and said they were all out of the Kroger brand, and were also out of all sizes of Nutella – except the 2.2 pound Nutella (!), so that’s what I got – for the same $2 price! Such a game-changer for me, too. Absolutely love it!
Disclosure: This is NOT a sponsored post. This is my opinion and I just wanted to help others who might now know about this service because it has been a game changer for me.
