Chocolate Milkshakes are perfect on a hot summer day!

This smooth, delicious Chocolate Milkshake is perfect for an afternoon treat on a hot summer day! My kids love milkshakes and they love helping me make them in the kitchen. The best thing about this milkshake recipe is how simple it is.

Chocolate Milkshakes are perfect on a hot summer day! #milkshake

All you need is chocolate ice cream, milk and chocolate syrup or cocoa powder. Sometimes we even make these with just the ice cream and milk if we are out of the syrup or powder. Add the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth or the consistency you want. It is really that easy!  Best of all you can use any type of ice cream or milk.  In fact I have made it with almond or coconut milk and coconut ice cream to make this dairy free too!

I love making Chocolate Milkshakes at home because it is a great way to save money and time. My kids request these all the time in the summer and I enjoy making them for them. I hope you enjoy this simple recipe too.
