    Christmas at Kings Island

Christmas at Kings Island is WONDERFUL! This year I took my man child and his friends to Winterfest, and we all LOVED it!

This was the first time we had ever been, and it definitely won't be our last. It is available on select nights in November and December each season.

I honestly had no idea what to expect and it exceeded all of my thoughts! It was such a beautiful display of lights. We went on New Year's Eve and my only regret is that we didn't go before Christmas too! I think it would have really put us into the Christmas spirit with all of the festive light displays.

Imagine an old-fashioned winter. This is exactly what you will find. Rosy-cheeked skaters gliding under twinkling lights, the magic of dazzling holiday attractions and carolers in traditional costumes, shops filled with ornaments, trinkets and toys, the aroma of freshly baked treats. There was a thrill in the air.

The spirit of everyone’s favorite season is captured in an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia at Cincinnati’s premier holiday event–a place where memories of holidays past are present; a place where memories of holiday activities are waiting to be made. It was everything we hoped for and MORE!

They had some additional activities available for an additional cost including ice-skating, cookie decorating, and horse drawn carriages. The boys went ice skating, and it was worth every penny. For $15 they got an hour and ½ of ice skating including the skate rental. The ice rink was a little bit crowded at first, but it thinned out quickly.

They do have limited coasters (only two) and limited smaller attractions open. Our only wish was that they had more rides opened. But the wait was too bad, and the boys enjoyed every single minute.

There was festive food available for purchase and the midway games were all holiday themed. Honestly Kings Island did an amazing job when it came to the lights and theme of the WinterFest. It was top notch.
