    Homemade Crockpot Cranberry Sauce is so easy to make and tastes better than from a can!  Plus, your house will smell amazing while cooking this delicious, tart recipe. In my family we love to have cranberry sauce for the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner always includes this scrumptious homemade side dish.

    Crockpot Cranberry Sauce is so easy to make and tastes better than from a can! Plus your house will smell amazing while cooking this delicious recipe.

    The best thing about this recipe is you only need 5 ingredients and a couple hours to make it. You can prep this Cranberry Sauce and make it a couple days before the holidays and then keep it in a covered dish refrigerated until you are ready to use it. You can also use Crockpot Cranberry Sauce in recipes or as a topping for meats like this Crockpot Cranberry Glazed Chicken Recipe. The possibilities are endless!

    I love that this is a non-processed version of the traditional canned version.  With only 5 ingredients: 1 pkg fresh cranberries, brown sugar, white sugar, ground cinnamon, Orange Juice and water.

    Crockpot Cranberry Sauce is so easy to make and tastes better than from a can! Plus your house will smell amazing while cooking this delicious recipe.

    Simply combine all the ingredients except the cranberries in the crockpot. Stir well. Add cranberries and evenly coat with the mixture. Turn on the crockpot too high for 3 hours, stirring the cranberries every hour.  After three hours on high, mash the cranberries. Continue to heat on high with the lid off, for 45 minutes. Let cool and transfer to serving dish.

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkg fresh cranberries
    • ½ cup brown sugar
    • ½ cup white sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ½ cup Orange Juice
    • ½ cup water

    Instructions

    • Combine all ingredients except the cranberries in the crockpot.
    • Stir well.
    • Add cranberries and evenly coat.
    • Turn on the crockpot to high for 3 hours, stirring the cranberries every hour.
    • After three hours on high, mash the cranberries.
    • Continue to heat on high with the lid off, for 45 minutes.
    • Let cool and transfer to serving dish.

      Do you serve it room temp ? Also, can you keep leftover in the fridge and for how long?

        No cold. You can prep this and make it a couple days before the holidays and then keep it refrigerated until you are ready to use it. I would say up to a week.
