This week we are enjoying Crockpot Soups and Stews for our Weekly Menu Plan. Fall like temperatures have begun here in Northern Kentucky. Makes us want a warm bowl of soup for dinner. We love to use our crockpots to help save us time in the kitchen when making dinner for our families! Enjoy our menu planning ideas to help you as well. We menu plan because it keeps us from worrying about what is “for dinner” every day. It also keeps our food budget in line when it comes to dining out. When you menu plan it is important to include a family favorite weekly (and a leftovers or dining out night if desired).
We try to make easy, frugal menu plans to keep within our monthly grocery store budgets. A helpful tip is to plan meals from your stockpile! You can also meal plan around using leftovers from previous recipes. Meats make great bases to soup recipes, just add in stock and veggies to make a whole new dinner. Here is a how to get started Menu Planning Monthly.
