I wanted to share with you a DIY Derby Party. This week's DIY is a pictorial of a Derby themed Birthday Party.  It looks like the most amazing Derby Party ever and perfect for any little girl.

I get so much inspiration from it from the decorations to the menu!  Living in the Bluegrass it is almost DERBY TIME! If you are from Kentucky you know how very special this season is to all of us in the bluegrass state.

Take attention to detail from the Cupcake Stands to the Equestrian Horse Invitations. They are perfect for a Derby inspired party or for a horse lover.

The attention to detail for all of the décor is perfection. Serving chocolate milk out of glass milk jars with cute paper straws and decorating with vintage brooches are simply perfection.

I mean does it get better than burlap, lace and pearls? Only when you add ribbon! What a beautiful table runner.

I mean you can't go wrong by adding a sprig of mint to your cupcakes served on a galvanized serving tray.

I love the Mint Julep Stand! A little something for Mom and Dad at the party.

You have to have a fun party game with a "Horse Race" for the kids. Collect these and they can enjoy them after the party too.

The chair backs were amazing! Made with burlap, ribbon and pearls to match the table runner.

Of course no Derby Party is complete without a country ham biscuit or a Kentucky Hot Brown.
