I love this Homemade Halloween Treat Crackers idea.  Happy {almost} Halloween!  I hope you are excited about the big day and armed and ready for all those adorable trick - or -treaters!  With this easy and frugal craft idea you will be soon!

How To Make Halloween Treat Crackers

This easy and inexpensive DIY would be terrific for a kid's Halloween party.  I love when I can incorporate recycled items, and this craft uses an empty toilet paper holder (you can always use a paper towel holder and cut in half).   They are also so fun to open, have one child hold on to one end, one child on the other and pull and the candy will burst out like a pinata! Wait till you see the smile of the kids faces when they open them.

    Supplies:

    • empty toilet paper holder
    • 11x11 inch sheets of tissue paper
    • ribbon
    • cute or scary patterned scrap booking paper
    • small trinkets and/or candy to fill up the tube
    • tape
    • scissors

    Directions:

Step 1:  Cut your tissue paper to size (11 x 11)

Step 2.  Insert the candy and trinkets (think spider rings, erasers, temporary tattoos, etc.) into the toilet paper roll (or paper towel roll that you cut in half).
