Easy Chicken Soup is a family favorite recipe in my house! My whole family loves this delicious, tasty soup. I love that I can throw it in a large stockpot and it’s ready in 30 minutes or let it cook all day in the slow cooker. I came up with this recipe last year when I was feeling not so great and just wanted a good bowl of Chicken Soup. I went through my kitchen and grabbed some chicken tenders (but feel free to use chicken breast too, tenders is what I had in my fridge), carrots, celery, onion, dried parsley, black pepper and chicken broth.
I chopped the veggies and put them in the slow cooker with everything else. I set the slow cooker to low and let it cook all day for over 8 hours. I gave everything a stir and the chicken shredded very easily. My family loves this Easy Chicken Soup served with crackers.
You can easily freeze this recipe and prepare it as a freezer meal. Simply add all of the ingredients to a gallon size freezer bag and freeze. When you are ready to cook simply place in the refrigerator overnight to thaw. In the morning add all of the contents to the slow cooker and cover. Cook on how for 4-6 hours. I hope your family enjoys this delicious Easy Chicken Soup as much as mine does!
I love that this is a naturally gluten free recipe. It is also a healthy low carb recipe too! If you are following the Keto Diet this recipe is Keto Friendly. Often times when you find Chicken Soup recipes they have noodles. This recipe is perfect because it is filling yet it has no noodles. You can also freeze it if you have leftovers. I hope your family enjoys this Easy Chicken Soup as much as we do.
