Check out this Favorite Teacher Gift Idea. Don't forget your children's teachers this holiday season! You don't have to break the bank when it comes to coming up with a gift to show your appreciation.

Favorite Teacher Gift Idea - A Gift That Teachers REALLY Want!

As a former teacher of 11 years who recently just came out of retirement to substitute teach I KNOW first hand how hard teachers work and that really appreciate small gifts of kindness.

    Favorite Teacher Gift Idea:

This gift is what I gave Peyton's teachers this year.  I picked up a Christmas ceramic bowl last year for 75% off after the holidays and filled it with assorted chocolates.  I used some festive cellophane and attached a $15 Starbucks gift card with raffia.

Some of my most cherished gifts throughout the years were homemade ornaments, handwritten meaningful thank you letters and gifts that showed that they really knew me (things I collect or enjoy doing outside of school).  Other gifts that you can't go wrong with include: supplies for the class room room (cute pencils, pens, fancy post-it's), gift cards and personalized gifts.  Remember it's not about how much you spend...teachers really just want to know they impact your child and you appreciate their hard work and dedication.

We have some great DIY ideas for you! Here are 10 Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas that any teacher would love to get from a student. Most of them are DIY and you may already have the supplies laying around your home. Be sure to give a big shout out and thanks to your children’s teachers this week for all that they do!

That's a cute idea for a teacher's gift. Thanks for the idea. I might use it for next year.
