    Winter alley

Check out our Fellowes Air Purifier Review. This has been a COLD and SNOWY winter for us so far this year! We have had more snow days than school days in 2014! With the cold weather it means we are cooped up inside! Washing your hands and disinfecting indoor surfaces are not enough to protect your family this cold and flu season.

    Fellowes Air Purifier:

Did you know that indoor air is up to five times more polluted than outdoor air, and our homes are filled with airborne germs and viruses? Despite these facts, the recent 2014 Cold and Flu Report from Fellowes found only 13 percent of American adults use an air purifier as part of their cold and flu prevention arsenal. I have to admit that I am guilty myself! With Fellowes® AeraMaxTM Air Purifiers, your family can “clear the air” to reduce the presence of germs and viruses this season.

This of course is an investment in your family's health and wellness. You can look long term at the savings from less OTC medications and Dr. visits! In the winter on average, Americans spend 90 percent of their time indoors where the air is up to five times more polluted than it is outside.

With Fellowes® AeraMaxTM Air Purifiers, your family can “clear the air” to reduce the presence of germs and viruses this season.  This of course is an investment in your family's health and wellness.  You can look long term at the savings from less OTC medications and Dr. visits!

In the winter on average, Americans spend 90 percent of their time indoors where the air is up to five times more polluted than it is outside.1 We have been snowed in our house for over a month with one of the worst winters that I can remember in years.

Did you know that the flu can spread to people up to 6 feet away, even without a sneeze or cough to propel it!  YIKES!  Of course, Mom is always the one who is taking care of the patient too!  After a cough or a sneeze, some viruses stay suspended in the air for hours before landing on surfaces, where they can live for 24 hours.

With this four-step process you can protect your family from air born germs and viruses:
    1. Ask about a flu shot
    2. Wash and sanitize hands regularly
    3. Wipe down surfaces with powerful disinfectants
    4. Purify the air indoors

Fellowes® AeraMax™ Air Purifiers are extremely effective at removing influenza and cold viruses from indoor air7 and offer the following features:

True HEPA filters. Only a True HEPA filter – like the one found inside the Fellowes AeraMax™ DX55 – safely removes 99.97% of airborne particles, including viruses, germs, dust, mold, pollen, ragweed, pet dander and cigarette smoke.

Independent certifications. The new Fellowes AeraMax ™ DX55 comes with certifications from the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) and the California Air Resource Board (CARB), Certified asthma & allergy friendly™ by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), UL Listed and Energy Star-Certified.

The Fellowes AeraMax™ DX55 Air Purifier has an ultra-quiet technology that automatically monitors air and adjusts its settings to offer invisible protection for the air you breathe during cold and flu season.

You can purchase the Fellowes AeraMax™ DX-55 which starts at $189.99 at BestBuy.com

I've been telling my husband we need to buy an air purifier. I am constantly cleaning and having the kids wash their hands, but we definitely need something more. I actually have a Best Buy gift card, so I think I might stop by this weekend and check them out!
