    Enjoy these Mardi Gras Party Ideas that will help you when planning your Fat Tuesday Celebration! Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.

    Do you celebrate?  I think it is a fun holiday to celebrate with the kids.  Here are few fun and frugal crafts you could make. They are affordable and lots of fun.  Enjoy these frugal Mardi Gras party ideas.

    Mardi Gras Party Ideas:

    1.  Mardi Gras Necklace:  String colored shaped pasta or cereal on a string/yarn and make your own "beaded" necklace.  You can also pick up decorations at your local Dollar Store!

    2.  Mardi Gras Noise Maker: Take two paper plates and put beads/washers or anything that makes noise inside or use an empty toilet roll.  Staple or glue them together and decorate with streamers/ribbon if you desire.
