Hallmark Care Enough Challenge - Fun Pay It Forward Idea for Teens

I love this Hallmark Care Enough Challenge. I am so excited to share with you all this fun pays it forward idea for teens! I love paying it forward and so when Hallmark asked us to participate in their #CareEnough campaign I immediately said yes!

    Hallmark Care Enough Challenge:

Care Enough is an effort by Hallmark to inspire more small acts of caring. Hallmark's company roots are in caring, and they believe the world could use a little more kindness. I totally agree with their belief!  Hallmark is known as a card company, but truly it's a caring company. If you think about the reason, you send cards to others it is to show you care.  I love sending cards.  I always have.  I send them because I want others to know I am thinking of them and care about them.

Hallmark Care Enough Challenge - Fun Pay It Forward Idea for Teens

This challenge was to be focused on kids. I decided to create a candy bag to share with some of Peyton's classmates.  As you know we recently moved, and I thought what better way to spread some cheer than with a sweet treat for the kids.  When I was thinking about an idea to pay it forward, I thought what better idea to use candy!  All kids love candy 🙂 Plus with the fun play on words I thought the kids might like it. So, I put together some candy bags filled with smarties and airheads.  Peyton handed these out to 35 students at school.

I also printed off little slips of paper that I included in each bag that read:

Be a “smartie” and take a treat but don’t be an “airhead”.  Share with friends. Use the #CareEnough and pay it forward!

So, as you can see this idea didn't cost me a fortune but the kids enjoyed it and that makes me happy!  I hope that they learn from this simple act of kindness and as a result do something nice for someone else.  From the biggest acts to the smallest, they all make a difference. It is awesome to see how we can change the world one act at a time.

Enter the Kids Care Enough Challenge!

Now, we are giving you a change to pay it forward.  We will randomly select one follower to win a $100 Visa gift card, PLUS a $50 VISA gift card to be used to “pay it forward” and participate in the #CareEnough challenge.

    To Enter:

Stockpiling Moms will select (1) follower who accepts the Stockpiling Moms' kindness challenge.  Simply complete an act of caring for any child (children) and post about it with a photo on Instagram or Facebook by Monday, September 19. Be sure to tag @StockpilingMoms and use the hashtag #CareEnough. Be sure to make your post public so we can see it! This is open to US residents only and you must be 18 or older to win.  This act doesn't have to cost a lot of money!  Show us your caring spirit.

That's a nice idea. Love the note as well. So smart. We love Hallmark as well. We visit our local Hallmark store all the time. This summer, the kids opened those singing cards and danced in the store. It was pretty funny.

I love this idea! Sometimes we forget about the kiddos, especially when it comes to kindness. This is something I want to do for my son's homeschool group and see where it leads. Hallmark, you rock!

This is such an awesome idea! I grew up with Hallmark being our staple card company! If it didn't say Hallmark, it didn't say "we cared enough to send the very best," as this was our train of thought! I am not surprised that they are inspiring kids to give back, in love and kindness!

I love this gesture of caring. Anything to spread smiles and good days are always steps to more fulfilling lives. If you can create happiness or relief in someone's heart or turn a bad day into a better one makes all your efforts worth it.
