Healthy Crockpot Chili is an amazing clean eating slow cooker recipe with simple ingredients. I started with the basics of beef, chili powder, garlic powder and minced onion with some cans of beans. My family loves chili and I love to make it from homemade. To be easier you can use a packet of chili seasonings, but I prefer to use my own.
I started by browning the meat with minced onion in a skillet. Once that was done and drained I added it to the crockpot. Next I added the cans of beans, spices and tomato sauce to the slow cooker. Stir all the ingredients well and let it simmer all day on low. My family likes Healthy Crockpot Chili served over pasta, however I enjoy it with a scoop of sour cream and crackers.

Healthy Crockpot Chili
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 Tbsp minced onion
- 2 1/2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can red beans
- 1 can light red kidney beans
- 1 can tomato sauce
- Brown ground beef in skillet over med-high heat.
- Sprinkle minced over beef as cooking.
- Once browned, drain and add to slow cooker.
- Next add chili powder and garlic powder to meat; stir.
- Add cans of beans and tomato sauce to crockpot.
- Stir well and place lid on.
- Cook on low 8-10 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
