    Healthy "Fried" Bananas are perfect when you are craving something sweet but still stick to your healthy eating goals.

    Healthy "Fried" Bananas Recipe is a sweet tasting, clean eating delicious treat! It is also so easy and simple to make these fried bananas and I bet once you make them one time, you won't want to stop making them. If you are a banana lover then you will want to try this recipe.

    When I am in full force of eating clean and tracking everything I am eating, I crave sweets so bad. The funny thing is I don't usually crave sweets any other time. To help my sweet craving I will make these scrumptious bananas. It helps keep my craving at bay and I feel fulfilled after eating them. If you have bananas in your pantry then most likely you have all the other ingredients on hand too! If you are carb cycling this would be a great recipe for you to try!

    Healthy "Fried" Bananas are perfect when you are craving something sweet but still stick to your healthy eating goals.

    I know that some people will say that there is no way that Fried Bananas are healthy for you. This recipe made with bananas is much more healthy than processed cookies, candy bars, Debbie snacks and etc. It is made with natural sugars of honey, flavored with cinnamon and cooked in olive oil, which you can even use coconut oil too. This is a better alternative than eating junk food to curb my craving. Just know that Healthy "Fried" Bananas Recipe is a way to enjoy something sweet without all of the sugars and calories.

    Healthy "Fried" Bananas Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1 banana sliced
    • 3 tablespoon olive oil you can also use coconut oil
    • 1 tablespoon real honey
    • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

    Instructions

    • Heat oil in a small skillet over med-high heat.
    • Once the oil is heated add the banana slices, honey and cinnamon.
    • Let "fry" for two minutes, then using a spatula flip over each banana slice.
    • "Fry" for another 2-3 minutes.
    • Remove and serve as is or serve over vanilla ice cream, french toast or anything you would like it on.

      I just fry mine in butter and a bit of soy sauce. No need for honey as ripe bananas are sweet enough.
