Homemade Meatball Subs are super easy to prepare because you use frozen meatballs, spaghetti sauce, cheese and hoagie buns. Yes that is all you really need to make these delicious, hot sandwiches. My oldest son who is almost seventeen loves meatball subs. If we go to a restaurant that has them on the menu. you can bet he will order it. So I decided to try them at home for a quick dinner on a busy night. I am glad I did because everyone loved them!
You can have these Homemade Meatball Subs ready and on the table in less than 30 minutes for a wholesome dinner. Start by placing the frozen meatballs in a pot and add the sauce. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer for 10-15 minutes. Place a little cheese in the bottom of the buns, then add meatballs and sauce on top. Finish by sprinkling cheese on top and place in the oven to melt for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy. The next time I made these scrumptious subs I prepared them in the crockpot, so be on the lookout for that recipe to be coming soon!
