How to FREEZE Carrots. This is a great money saver when making soups and stews.

How to freeze carrots is super easy. Last week carrots were on sale at Kroger so I stockpiled them. I love to eat carrots raw or cooked. They are considered a staple in my kitchen. My boys love to munch on them for snacks or part of their meals.  To freeze carrots you need to flash freeze. To learn how to flash freeze click here. Once you have done that you just put the carrots in a container or labeled ziploc bags. This is a great money saver when making soups and stews.

Have you used any of your frozen ones yet? I've tried several times and they turn brown as they thaw.
