Make Ahead Smoothie Bags are perfect for those busy weekday mornings!

Make Ahead Smoothie Bags are perfect for those busy weekday mornings! They are simple to prepare and help you save time during the week. I always prep my Make Ahead Smoothie Bags for the week on Sunday. I love to have a fruit smoothie every morning but like everyone else I am running around trying to pack lunches, get kids up and going for the day. Sometimes is is hard for me to make time to prepare my smoothie. So, I came up with the idea of prepping the fruits on Sunday in ziploc bags so in the morning all I have to do is dump the bag in my blender and add my almond milk (you can also use coconut milk).

Make Ahead Smoothie Bags are the best way to prep your smoothies for the week!

By making these individual bags there is no need for me to flash freeze the fruit first. I just simply add a banana that is cut in half and 1 and ½ cups of berries to each baggie.  If you want to make this a green smoothie go ahead and add your spinach right in!  Then place them in the freezer. In the morning, I get my blender set up, dump the bag in and add my almond milk. It's that simple and saves me so much time.
