These Mini Red White & Blue Shortcakes are the perfect dessert to make for Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor Day parties!

Mini Red, White and Blue Shortcakes

These individual desserts will be a huge hit and they are super easy to serve at a gathering whether its big or small. You can make these delicious shortcakes the day before and right before serving you can add the whipped cream on top.

Mini Red, White and Blue Shortcake - Simple Dessert for July 4th!

All you need to make these adorable and tasty dessert is Angel Food Cake, strawberries, blueberries and homemade whipped cream (or cool whip). Layer the cake and berries in a small mason jar. Refrigerate the jars until you are ready to serve them. Put a dollop of  whipped cream  on top right before setting out to serve.

Kids and Adults will be sure to love and because you are using a Mason Jar you have an added decoration! You could even send them home with these desserts as they are easy to eat on the go. I love how simple they are to prepare but that they look like you spent a lot of time preparing them. Your guests will never know!

Love the idea of making everyone their own individual serving. Will have to make these for the 4th of July.
