I love this cute Owl Cupcake. This dessert recipe is so easy to make. It is the perfect themed dessert for an owl themed party.

How to make an owl cupcake. Perfect for a baby shower or owl themed birthday party.

All you need is an iced cupcake (chocolate works great), 2 Oreo's (split) and 3 m&m's (2 orange and 1 brown).  Carefully split the Oreo's and then use the icing side.  Using a bit of icing attach the m&m's to create the eyes.

Then add the nose by pressing it into the icing on its side.  You can also use Reese's Pieces if you prefer.  They are easy to make and would be a great addition to an Origami Owl party or a hosting an Owl Pajama Party.

My friend Kristie made these adorable Owl Cupcakes and I asked her if I could share them with you.  She says they are easy to make.  She used an icing tip to make the feathers and candy melts from Wilton (up side down so the top is flat) and Reese's pieces are stuck on top with icing for they eyeballs.  The nose is a little yellow candy that she had for cupcake decorating but you could use runt candies (or any yellow hard candy) for the nose too.
