I love this inexpensive birthday party centerpiece. Using a Mason Jar is such a frugal way to decorate for any occasion. You could also fill this Inexpensive Birthday Centerpiece with candy that the birthday boy/girl loves and have the kids guess how many pieces are in the jar and give it as a prize!
I have decorated for the 4th of July with red, white and blue paper too! I have added American Flags too.
